BIOGRAFÍA
Nina Molina
Nací en Buenos Aires en 1946. Hice la primaria y la secundaria allí.En 1964 me fui a vivir a los Estados Unidos con mis padres.Estudié Filosofía en la Universidad de California en Berkeley y me recibí en 1969. (Bachelor of Arts)En 1971 retomé la Fotografía que ya había practicado junto a mi padre durante mi adolescencia en Buenos Aires.
En 1971 y 1972 estudié Fotografía en el Santa Monica Community College de Los Angeles, California .
En 1973 volví a la Argentina y vine a vivir a Córdoba.
Estudié Pintura en la Escuela de Artes de la Universidad de Córdoba de donde egresé en 1981 como Licenciada en Pintura. Desde 1979 hasta el presente he participado en más de 60 salones y muestras colectivas .En 1985 con Patricia Ávila, Sara Galiasso y Gabriel Gutnisky formamos el grupo “Agagumo” , una asociación de Plástica experimental .
(Museo Caraffa 1987, Jaime Conci 1988, Fundación San Telmo 1990). Hice hasta hoy 13 muestras individuales, algunas en Estados Unidos y otras acá.(Giaroli 1985 Córdoba, Annick Porter 1989 y 1991 Massachusetts,USA, Praxis 1994 Córdoba, Atica 1995 Buenos Aires, Museo Genaro Perez 1995 y 2007 Córdoba, Martorelli-Gasser 2001 Córdoba, Via Margutta 2007 y 2011 Córdoba, Museo Caraffa 1998 2013 y 2019

El 25 de Julio de 2013 me dieron el Premio al Mérito Artístico que otorga la Secretaría de Cultura de la Provincia de Córdoba, gracias al cual puedo dedicarme exclusivamente a mi profesión.

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1946.
In 1964 I moved to California, USA
I studied Philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley campus and got a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1969.
In 1971 I resumed the practice of Photography which I had done with my father in my teen years.
In 1971 and 1972 I studied Photography at the Santa Monica Community College , Los Angeles, California .
In 1973 I came back to Argentina and settled in Córdoba.
I studied Painting at the Art school of the National University of Córdoba .
I obtained a Licenciatura in Painting in 1981
Since 1979 I have participated in more than 60 juried contests and group shows.
In 1987 I joined Patricia Avila , Sara Galiasso and Gabriel Gutnisky to form AGAGUMO an experimental art association.
(Museo Caraffa 1987, Jaime Conci 1988, Fundación San Telmo 1990).
I have had 12 solo shows, some in the United States and some in Argentina.

I have participated in several International Art Fairs with Via Margutta Contemporary Art gallery.

Since 1998 I have worked mostly with Photography (photomotages) although I periodically incorporate Painting ( materic and digital) and Assemblages.
Since 1970 art has been my main occupation although I had to teach English to pay my bills.
In 2013 I was awarded the Premio al Mérito Artìstico ( artistic Merit Award) by the Culture Agency of the province of Córdoba, Argentina , which allows me to dedicate full time to my art work.
I live and work in Córdoba, Argentina.
